Ice Vols Care

Every Fall and Spring semester, the Ice Vols make their way to a local elementary school to help the kids with their hockey gym lessons. Normally, we make our way to Ritta Elementary with Mr. Ibbotson. This is one of the players favorite times of the year because they get the opportunity to work with the kids on anything hockey related from stick-handling to skating.
Youth Hockey Skaters

Our newest addition to our pregame festivities at our home games, as per the request of our players, is including a youth hockey skater. Every home game we will be bringing a few of the local youth hockey skaters to join the Ice Vols on the ice during the National Anthem. This past season, we had players for the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears come and talk with some of the players during warmups and even get some autographs after the game!
Off THE Ice

The Ice Vols are not only a family on the ice, but they are a family off the ice. Whether it is going into the community together or it is going to support the Vols in football or basketball, they do it as a team. They even met the Tennessee squirrel together at Thompson-Boling Arena together.
Athletes support Athletes

Athletes recognize other athletes. Because of this we have been able to get in contact with fellow UT athletes from football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and softball. The athletes who have helped support the team so far are: Brian Maurer, John Fulkerson, Uros Plasvic, Jalen Johnson, Jorel Ortega, Ga'von Wray, Josiah Jordan James, Davonte "Ticket" Gaines, Drew Pember, Adam Walton, Addisyn Rowe, Kailey Keeble, Madison Coutler, and Ashley Rogers.
